What we do

Our core business involves providing opportunities for underprivileged children through attendance at our camps.  The main aim of these camps is to develop independence, offer personal challenge and growth, maintain dignity and care with a high level of enjoyment and personal satisfaction for all participants by:

  • Offering children training and numerous opportunities to participate in interactive programs;
  • Helping the children develop their skills in a fun, motivating, no-pressure environment, with a range of activities and different communication partners; and
  • Helping families develop skills and competencies in supporting each other by encouraging parental support, social networking and access to resources and techniques for enhancing opportunities for their child.

Kids Future Kids provides the following to its clients in response to the above issues:

  • A safe, ongoing, referential social group for social skill development and friendship;
  • Male and female adult role models;
  • Ability to form “safe” relationships with adults where children can find a “friendly ear”;
  • An older brother/sister environment;
  • Opportunities for older children to display leadership and form caring relationships with younger children;
  • Options in managing conflict; and
  • A sense of being accepted and belonging to a group.

Girl on the beach

This is done through a series of weekend camps throughout the year for groups of 15 to 30 children per camp. Camps are supervised by fully trained and qualified leaders.
