Logo Philosophy
In 2002, a decision was made by the Management Committee to change the name of the organisation, to better reflect the services we offer in our community. Kids Future Kids was voted as the most appropriate name, with the philosophy being that the organisation endeavoured to assist individual children thereby assisting future generations of children.
The positive and negative images of an adult’s and a child’s footprints are symbolic of the support and vision that our leaders provide in steering our kids in the right direction.

The circle represents unity of a group and the sharing of knowledge, while different shades of the circle represent the different ages, personalities and levels of development of each child.
The phrase Kids Future Kids has a two fold meaning. Firstly kids future referring to their present state of under-developed skills, and our goal to guide and empower them, secondly as future kids, once they have gained knowledge and understanding and can look forward to all the possibilities ahead of them.
The lettering kids represents the innocence of a child’s handwriting while future kids uses a type writer font which associates with the process of learning, education and their advancement and development into young adults.
